Dear Potential Doctoral Student:
Welcome. This web site provides an overview of the Doctoral Program at the School of Labor & Employment Relations at Michigan State University. In addition to traditional information about the prerequisites and content of the program, these pages detail who we are, why we're unique, and the kind of students we seek.
At MSU, our doctoral program is a key part of our mission to be a global leader in the creation, teaching, and dissemination of knowledge about managing human resources, work, and the employment relationship.
If after reviewing the information on our web site you feel this program would be a good fit for you, my colleagues and I welcome your application. We are now accepting applications for Fall 2010. Information regarding the application process and deadlines may be found here. We also would like the opportunity to meet you and discuss your interests, our program, and the opportunities available to you at MSU in detail. In many cases, a visit to the School can be arranged.
If our doctoral program does not meet your needs, please consider our Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations (MHRLR) degree program.
Sincerely,
Ellen E. Kossek
