Our Troy campus curriculum is flexible and designed to accommodate the demanding schedules and practical needs of working professionals. Classes include lectures and hands-on discussions of real-life issues, and students engage in case analyses, team exercises, and individual work-related projects and assignments. Blending in-class and some online instruction, classes meet no more than one evening a week from 6:00 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Our program is based on a three-semester academic year, allowing students to enroll in one or two courses each term. By taking two courses each semester, students graduate in two years; by taking one course each semester, students graduate in four years. In addition, students who have recently completed comparable coursework in other graduate programs may be approved to transfer up to six credit hours toward the MHRLR degree
Our curriculum provides immediate value to both working professionals and their employers seeking to build internal organizational talent and capacity. Students develop the skills and gain the tools that:
Upon graduation, most students can expect to find that their demonstrated mastery of HR/LR skills will be rewarded with substantially greater advancement and earnings opportunities. Graduates also enjoy the benefits of a vast professional network of highly successful alumni, located throughout the U.S. and abroad.
