Join us for the Green & White Spring Football Game/Tailgate (Price and time now set.) One of Coach Dantonio's first moves as the new Head Football Coach was to reinstate the spring Green & White game. Capitalizing on that, the Sporting Events Committee has planned a pre-game tailgate. The event is co-sponsored by the MSU Alumni Association. The tailgate tent will be located in front of the IM West on April 21, 2007, doors open at 11:00 a.m. The $15 price per person includes a sub sandwich lunch. Sparty will be stopping by to energize the tailgate with his Spartan spirit and give the kids an opportunity for a high-five and picture. Please join us for this family friendly event! Reservations are strongly encouraged as food will be preordered and can only be guaranteed for those who register. Space is only guaranteed upon receipt of payment in full. The Green-White intrasquad game kicks off at 1:30 p.m. in Spartan Stadium.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State concludes its 15 spring practices under first-year head coach Mark Dantonio with the Green-White intrasquad game on Saturday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. in Spartan Stadium. Parking is free (in Lots 79, 56, 40, 63 and 66), and the stadium gates open at 12 p.m. There is no required admission charge; however, fans are asked to consider making a cash contribution to "Make A Change" upon entering the stadium. "Make A Change" is a student-athlete initiative, led by Michigan State senior center John Masters, to raise money to assist in the fight against cancer.
Prior to the spring game, MSU's coaching staff and players will conduct a free youth football clinic (no registration required). Children, ages 8-12, are invited to attend the youth clinic from 10-11:30 a.m. on the grass practice fields behind the Duffy Daugherty Football Building, located at the corner of Chestnut Road and Shaw Lane. Clinic participants and their parents are requested to enter the practice fields through the gate on Shaw Lane. Over the last four years, nearly 1,700 children have participated in the annual youth football clinic.
The purpose of the clinic is to introduce youngsters to the game by stressing fundamentals. No football gear is required. >From 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Coach Dantonio and his players will be available for an autograph session for clinic participants. In addition, clinic participants will receive a coupon for a complimentary hot dog and soft drink to be redeemed at a concession stand in Spartan Stadium during the spring game.
The annual MSU Athletics Department and Concessions "Spring Garage Sale" will be held on April 21 in the Sideline Shop in Spartan Stadium, beginning at 10 a.m.

It marks the first time since April 24, 1999, that the Spartans will conclude spring drills with an intrasquad game. For the last seven years, MSU has completed spring practice with a "controlled" scrimmage.
Fans are reminded that all cameras, camcorders and cell phones are strictly prohibited during the spring game.
Fans also are reminded that the "open container" ordinance will be enforced on campus and in parking lots for the spring football game.
