Upcoming 2006 SLIR Alumni Board Meetings:
Unless otherwise noted, all board meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time in the SLIR Conference Room, 434 South Kedzie Hall, at Michigan State University.
If you wish to participate via conference call, please notify Kay Beach at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
SLIR alumni interested in joining the board are welcome to attend any meeting. We welcome new members and encourage all interested individuals to participate. Please see by-laws for membership qualifications.
Meetings Conducted 2006:
January 10, 2006; March 14, 2006; May 9, 2006; July 11, 2006.
Special Alumni Board meeting was conducted on June 13, 2006 at 6:00 P.M. to select a faculty member for the Kruger Award. This selection will be announced at the 50th Year Anniversary celebration on October 25-26, 2006.
PLEASE NOTE:
The regular Alumni Board meeting for September, 2006 will be held in conjunction with the Annual Alumni meeting on September 30th. Please see announcement below:
The Annual ALUMNI meeting will be held at the Homecoming Tent on September 30, 2006 from 9 A.M to noon.. The regular SLIR Alumni Board September meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M. at same location. We will be electing officers, introducing new members, and conducting Alumni Board business. Please plan on attending this event to meet alumni, faculty, students, and participate in the activities.
October 10, 2006 Final Regular Meeting for 2006. This will be final meeting for 2006. Meeting dates for 2007 to be announced.
