Human Resources Head
Searching for a seasoned head of Human Resources to report directly to the President of a STABLE AND PROFITABLE, European-owned automotive supplier. The European ownership gives this organization - and HR - a great deal of autonomy. Seeking for a more strategic and sophisticated approach to HR. Should be familiar with heavy and light manufacturing.

About 400 employees, mostly automotive engineers and technicians. A s-m-a-l-l manufacturing operation is on site. This is mostly a professional, union-free organization of white collar professionals doing R&D type developmental work for cars of the future being designed and built for the Big 3 and Japanese as well as certain European automotive clients. Please be open about your salary requirements.

Although this is primarily a greater Detroit area search, it is possible that the search may include others whose relocation may be easily accomplished. An equal opportunity employer - and an exciting challenge for a true HR generalist who does not require the creation of a large staff to get forward-looking things done in the best traditions of human resources.
