Course Methodology

The course will be conducted on-line using the ANGEL course management software. When one registers for the course they will be informed how to access ANGEL and the site for this course. When they log on to ANGEL they will be guided to an Orientation folder that will help them to learn about the features available through ANGEL, optimal system requirements, and  how to navigate the course management software.  Downloadable software will also be made available to facilitate access to video and audio files.

Assignments will consist of readings from the assigned texts, web links, and other papers, viewing video clips of training professionals who discuss various aspects of training and development, participation in in-class exercises, discussions and problem solving activities. Students will also be required to complete a comprehensive design for an 8-hour training program, including a detailed instructor’s manual.
