This is the twentieth annual national conference for labor representatives and leaders in the health care industry.  Each year since 1978, the Labor Education Programs of Michigan State University and the University of Illinois present the latest topics affecting unions' organizing and collective bargaining concerns. 

This year, the conference will focus on the issues of privatization, mergers, organizing and labor/management cooperation in the health care industry.
