Stacy Hickox, J.D. is an Assistant Professor in the School of Labor and Industrial Relations at Michigan State University. She teaches courses on various aspects of employment law in both live and online courses. Using a grant from the Michigan State Bar Foundation, she developed live and webinar courses on the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act for counselors who assist people with disabilities in finding employment. Ms. Hickox practiced law in the area of disability law at Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service prior to coming to SLIR. Ms. Hickox also taught for several years at MSU’s law school, including courses in employment law, civil rights, and disability law. She has written a book on the Americans with Disabilities Act and several law review articles on employment law. Ms. Hickox received her bachelor’s degree from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University and received her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Aneil Mishra, Ph.D. is Professor and Director of Executive Education for the School of Labor and Industrial Relations at Michigan State University. Aneil's teaching and research interests include the dynamics of trust within and across organizations, leading effective organizational change and organizational culture. He has consulted, conducted research, and coached executives on these issues with a number of global and domestic firms. Aneil has taught in several domestic and international executive programs in the U.S., Turkey, and South America and provides custom programs for a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Aneil worked for the General Motors Corporation as a human resource specialist and manufacturing engineer. He earned an A.B, cum laude, in economics from Princeton University.
Tina Riley, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the School of Labor and Industrial Relations at Michigan State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education with a concentration in Organizational Communications and a Master of Arts in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Michigan State University. Dr. Riley serves as a management development consultant and develops and teaches workshops on leadership, management development, and a variety of human resource management topics. She administers the MBTI and facilitates individual and group MBTI sessions. Her work incorporates a variety of approaches to enhance the learning experience.
