As a manager, supervisor or human resources professional, you apply various employment laws every day. But do you really understand those laws? Are you familiar with the courts' interpretations of those laws, which seem to change every day?
This seminar will help you understand the laws which apply to every stage of the human resource management, from recruitment to termination of the employment relationship and beyond. You will learn to identify potential violations, and know when you need to contact your organization's attorney.
In hypothetical situations, you will have an opportunity to discuss real life problems and find out what the courts have said on the legal issues involved. More importantly, you will be prepared to train others in your organization on what they need to know to avoid violations in the future. You will also be able to review and apply your personnel policies to ensure future compliance by everyone in your organization.
This employment law program is specifically designed to provide you with the fundamental and broad knowledge of employment laws that you need to be successful as a manager, supervisor or HR professional. Space is limited. Register today!
