Web Presentation SeriesREGISTER TODAY!Employment Law - Resolutions without Litigation Live Web Presentation Series MSU's School of Labor and Industrial Relations is offering a series of three live Web presentations that cover "How to Protect the Privacy of Your Employees" starting in May through July 2008:
Instructor Each of these Web presentations will be conducted by expert Stacy Hickox. Stacy Hickox is a visiting assistant professor in the School of Labor and Industrial Relations at Michigan State University (MSU). As an attorney, she practiced in the areas of employment and labor law, including claims of discrimination, unemployment compensation, and wage and hour claims. Before joining MSU, she practiced in the area of disability law at Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service. Ms. Hickox also taught for several years at MSU's law school, including courses in employment law, disability law, and civil rights. She has written a book on the Americans with Disabilities Act and several law review articles on various employment law topics. Ms. Hickox attended the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University and received her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Length Each Web presentation is 1.5 hours in length. The total series is 4.5 hours in length. Companion Materials The PowerPoint that you will view during the series of three live Web presentations will be provided to you in a booklet sent to you via snail mail. You will receive each individual booklet before the start of the Web presentation for that month. Continuing Education Credits This series has been pre-approved for 4.5 continuing education credits towards recertification for the Certified Human Resources Specialist and the Certified Workers' Compensation Professional offered through the School of Labor and Industrial Relations at Michigan State University. |
